Diane Klumb has been showing, training, and breeding purebred dogs all her adult life, although she really can't remember why. Diane and her husband owned a gun-dog training kennel and shooting preserve for about a hundred years on the south shore of Lake Superior, where it's very cold except occasionally in July. Somewhere during that time it occurred to her that men invariably displayed the exact same pack behavior as domestic dogs, which she thought was pretty funny, and twenty years later she finally got around to writing a book about it. The book is pretty funny, too.
Diane and her husband currently live in Virginia with a houseful of dogs and two totally useless cats, where Diane still writes a monthly column for Showsight Magazine except when she forgets.
